Business Development Manager – Germany

CattleEye is growing! We’re now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth in Germany.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for growing CattleEye’s footprint in the German dairy sector by developing and executing commercial strategies through indirect sales channels, such as milk processors and distribution partners. You’ll act as a product champion, building market awareness, training partners, and delivering strong customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets via GEA and third-party distribution networks
  • Develop and deliver training and marketing materials for channel partners
  • Define and implement sales and marketing strategies across the region
  • Support major customer negotiations and pricing strategies
  • Provide market insight and track industry trends to guide company decisions
  • Represent CattleEye at trade shows and key industry events
  • Deliver high-quality support and product knowledge to customers and partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial or business development role within the livestock/agri-tech sector (e.g. animal nutrition, genetics, health, equipment, or digital tools)
  • Strong understanding of the German dairy industry
  • Proven ability to drive growth through indirect sales channels
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical mindset and confident in managing multiple commercial workstreams
  • Fluent in German and English.

Location: Field-based, ideally in Eastern Germany
